16 Gramercy Park South earned National Historic Landmark status in December 1962, and became a New York City Landmark in March 1966. Through our work, the Players Preservation Fund seeks to preserve this historic Gramercy townhouse for the education and enjoyment of future generations.
The Players Preservation Fund is the 501(c)(3) not-for-profit corporation charged with restoring and preserving the historic building at 16 Gramercy Park South and its essential infrastructure. There are many ways to make a tax-deductible contribution to The Players Preservation Fund.
Recently we celebrated the tenth anniversary of our founding, when we began our award-winning restoration of the building’s crumbling façade. We have accomplished a great deal since, and have much work ahead of us. As you can imagine, the club's managing team is always encountering new challenges in maintaining our 175-year-old landmark house.
